2014 Election Results: Consider acceptance of municipal canvassing board report
declaring the results of the November 4, 2014 special municipal election — City Clerk
Bartell advised that the results of the recent election as it related to the city question on
the ballot were distributed in the packet. The city council is required by law to certify
them and sign the canvassing document as accurate.
The council posed questions regarding turnout, election judge services, the possibility of
electronic polls books in the future and any issues that arose.
A motion by Council Member Rafferty, seconded by Council Member Stoesz, to approve
the Returns of the November 4, 2014 Municipal Election as presented, was adopted.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on
November 24, 2014.
