Home My WebLink About07/17/1968 Council Minutes1 Minutes of the July 8 meeting approved at July 22, 1968, meeti A special meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Bohjanen, on July 17, 1968, at 9:42 P.M. immediately following a Planning and Zoning meeting. Members present were: Bohjanen, Cardinal, Jaworski. Absent: Rosengren and L'Allier. (Mayor L'Allier was out of town on business.) Mr. Bohjanen asked Mr. Locher to state the technicalities concerning the request of W. Eugene Blomquist to have some of his land platted. W. Locher stated that the Council had been present at the Public Hearing and the P&Z meeting and knew most of the details. He indicated that the plat had been approved by Mr. Gotwald and tie Planning and Zoning Board but that the title search bad not been completed. This would be a permanent plat with six foot utility easements at the back of each lot and the west side of Lot 6, The Attorney mentioned that the ordinance on Park Dedication had been passed before the platting had been approved by the Council. Mr. Jaworski moved that the Council accept the plat, subject to abstract search by the Attorney, to be known as Blomquist Addition having the following legal description: The South 200 feet of the West 475 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31, Township 31 N, Range 22 W, Anoka County Minnesota, also known as being part of Lot 3, Auditor;s Subdivision No. 107, Anoka County, Minnesota. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Jaworski moved to review the matter of park dedication at the next regular council meeting, July22, when there would be a full Council. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. It was mentioned that the preliminary plat had been presented before the park dedication was passed. Mr. Cardinal moved to authorize the mayor and the clerk - treasurer to sign the plat at any convenient time. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried.
