Meeting of the Council fib Lino Lakes on June 24, 1963
Members presnt as follows: Mayor Yelling: Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable, Speiser,
Clerk Hauer.
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Backlin, second by
Speiser, they be accepted as read. All voted in favor.

Bids for street improvement were received,
Richard Hoekstra, Forest Lake $5,120.53, 5% bid Bond
Roy Sina Contracting, New Biighton $6,304.83 5% bid bond
IIIHarold Hennum, Minneapolis $5,881.92 Check $300.00

Motion by Kelling, second by Backlin, refer bids to Tillage Engineer for further study.

Motion by Yelling, second by Heckenliable, to accept the resignation of Dennis Anderson as
Constable. All voted in favor.

Sale" beer for Hank Rosengren. All voted in favor.
Motion by telling, second by Backlin, to approve the license applications for "On & Off
Sale" beer with dancing , cigarette and setups for Richard Lichtscheidl. All voted in
Favor.
Motion by Kellik, second by Speiser, to approve "On & Off Sale" beer license application
for Gilbert St. Sauver. All voted in favor.
Motion by Speiser, second by Yelling, to approve "On & Off Sale" beer license applications
for Annie Boss. All voted in favor.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to approve the "On & Off Sale" beer license with
dancing and cigarette licp »sP applications for Andrew P. Hauer. Hauer abstained, carried.
Motion by Yelling, second by Heckenliable, to approve "On & Off Sale" beer with dancing and
set up license applications for Elna Baxter. All voted in favor.
Motion by Yelling, second by Speiser, to approve "On & Off Sale" beer with dancing and
setup license applications for Ralph Nathe. All voted in favor.
Motion by Speiser, second by Backlin, to approve setup license application for Andrew P.
Heuer. Hauer abstained, carried.
Mr. Backlin,
Imixsax, reported that all the weeds had been cut in village and weed spraying will
start this week. Also checck on amount to charge Columbus for cutting weeds.
Engineerlp reported on Pillage Park, grading was done and turned in bill witholding 10% III
until council members checked on work done.
Motion by Yelling, second by Backlin, notice be put in the Circulating Pines about the
cutting of weeds in vacant lots in village. All voted in favor.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, that Village Engineer and Backlin check the Bald
Eagle road for graveling. All voted in favor.
Motion by Backlin, second by Heckenliable, to turn down the "0n Sale" liquor license for
the Red Floor Inn. All voted in favor.
Mr. Speiser, reported that Hoekstra did a fine job of grading Village Park. Also that he
would turn in a bill for the burning of stumps which was extra.
Motion by telling second by Heckenliable, to get a easemenfr from Lena Billik for a raad
for the park. All voted in favor.
Motion by Yelling, second by Heckenliable, that Speiser seed the Pillage Park with rye and
grass seed this fall. All voted in favor.
Motion by Backlin, seco #d by Speiser, to grant permission for Trap Shooting Range for Mar-
than Sun Club. All voted in favor.
Robert Raymond, reported on a police car from New Brighton.
Motion by Backlin, second by Yelling, to give Dennis Anderson permission to offer a
$950.00 bid for the car if approved by Moga & Speiser Ga.1age. All voted in favor.
IIIMotion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to have 300 copies of Fire Arms Ordinance and
Dog Ordinance printed by J & L Steno Co. All voted in faovr.
Al Dupre, reported that the house numbers on Main Street had been changed. 2 3
Emily Rehbein, reported a check for $4,844.38 was received from Coon Rapids Bank, proceeds it
of sale of Park Bonds.
Harold Jacobson, asked about Special Use Permit for parking tractor on his property.
