Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on August 14, 1963
Members present a.s follows: Mayor telling; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Eeckenliable,
and Clerk Hauer.
The ?minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Heckenlieole, second
by Speisr, they be accepted as read. All voted in favor.
Motion by telling, second by Heckeilis.ble, the petition for a Special Use Permit of a
Sea Plane Base on Rice Lake be turned over to the Planning Board. Motion Carrred.
Bids were received for Bituminous Seal Coating as follows:
Pat McEnroe, Inc. 5% Bid Bond $4,334.00
T.A. Schifsky & Sons 5% Bid Bond 3,990.00
Ray Sina 'Contrasting 5% Bid Bond 3,060.00
Bituminous Constructing Check for $240.00
Motion by telling, second by Heckenliable, to turn bids over to Engir.neer. Motion Carried..
Mr. Backlin, reported the grass is being cut in the village, and he had checked on various
roads in Tillage.
Motion by telling, second_ by Speiser, that Mr. Backlin, the village Engineer, and Mr.
Noekstra, to check and estimate costs of road work on 3 projects in Pillage, on Peltier
Street and 77th Street. Motion Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by tellin :, to make e 5 year pay off of bonds, for road work,
on Twilight Acres. Motion Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, that the bid for road work in Twilight Acres
be awarded. to LaTa.11ey Excavating. Motion Carried.
Mr. Speiser, reported that he ha.d checked on the Lake Shore properties for the 7ill� c,
but owners didn't want to sell, also weeds in parks had been cut.

Motion by Heckenliable, second by Telling, the minimun house size es follows: 864 so. ft.
with expansion; 902 se.ft. without expansion; 720 sa.ft. two story. Motion Carried.
Constable Raymond, reports on Hoffman junk yard, everything will be removed by Sept. 1,1963
elso checked on the property Mr. Cross property.
The $240.00 cash received from Bitminous Construction, Inc. was turned over to the Clerk
to be deposited in the General Tund.

Motion by Backlin, second by Heckenliable, to adjourn meeting.All toted in favor.

Meeting; of the Council of Lino Lakes on August 27, 1963
Members present as follows: Mayor telling; Trustee's Iacklin, Speiser, Heckenliable.
The minutes of the preceding meetin were read and on motion by Speiser, second by
Backlin, they be accepted as read. All voted in favor.
Applications for cigareete license was received from Russell Warren, on motion by
heckenliable, second by Speiser, it be granted. parried.
Motion by telling, second by Speiser, to renew Fire Contract with Centerville. Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by HeckenliYble, to award the contra.ft for road work to Ray
Sina. Carried.
Motion by telling, second by Backlin, Contractor was authorized to work out a compre-
hensive program for roads in conjunction with the Tillage Treasurere. Carried.
Mr. Backlin, also reported the weeds in the Tiillt Lakewiew area were cut and had
Engineer Carley read his recommendations for street work in Lakeview.
The applications for a Special Use Permits for Joseph and Sally Michaud and E. R.
Henriksen were refferred to the Planning and Zonning Commission and hearings were set
for Sppt.9, 1963, at 7:30 by the Planning Board, and 8:30 by the Council.
Motioh by telling, second by Heckenliable, the building inspectors were directed to
restrict unplatted construction. Carried.
