Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on September 23, 1963
Members present as follows: Mayor Kelling; Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable,
Speiser, and Clerk Hauer.
Minutes of the prededing meeting were read and on motion by Heckenliable,
second by Backlin, they be accepted as read. Carried.
Mr. Backlin, reported on various snowplows and their costs. He also told
of the delay in the seal coating in the Lakeview Addition, because of the
weather.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Kelling, that the Attorney check on the
lakeshore property for the Village onf�tfn� Lake and the building of six
two- family. homes by Andale Inc.. Carr!
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Kelling, that Inspector Ross bring the
owner of Lot #11 to the Council Meeting and explain the sub dividing of the
lot. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Kelling, to check with the Planning Board
on the Platting of property. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Hauer, that Clerk Hauer, notify Hoffman
Junkyard to discontinue operatioi, to be out and cleaned up-within 30 days.
Constable Robert Raymond is to deliver the letter. Carried.
Motion by Kelling, second by Heckenliable, for a Special Meeting between the
Council and Bonhiver & Anfinson, to discuss the budget for 1964 be held on
Tuesday, October 1, 1963, at 8:00. Carried.
Motion by Kelling, second by Speiser, to put "A" on the next ballot.
Carried.

Motion by Kelling, second by Heckenliable, that Clerk Hauer, place a notice
in the Legal Newspaper, pertaining to 10 Election Judges for the Village
Election in December, to be paid $1.65 per hour. Carried.
Motion by Kelling, second by Backlin, that the constables salary be $60.00
per month, retro active to July 1, 1963. Carried.
Treasurer, Emily Rehbein, reported the Bank Balance to be $11,381.13.

Motion by Kelling, second by Heckenliable, that the Attoreny, prepare and
file with the Register of Deeds, the sub division of lots. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to have a Village Auction. Carried
Motion,by Speiser, second by Hekcenliable, that Trustee Speiser, put a notice
in the paper thanking the men for painting the barn. Carried.

The Attroney, suggested that the Council purchase the bool "Handbook
For Minnesota Villages ".
Clerk Hauer, received an "On Sale" Liquor License application, from Henry
Rosengren. Hank Rosengren, discussed the "On Sale" Store.
Motion by Backlin, second by Kelling, that no action be taken on the appli-
cation, until October 28, meeting. Carried.

Special Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on October 1, 1963
Members present as follows: Mayor Kelling; Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable,
Speiser, Gnd Clerk Hauer. Also present was Mr. Bonhiver of Bonhiver and
Anfinson.
A representative of the Warsait.Snowplow discussed the Warsalt plow.
Mr. Backlin, recommended that a Warsaj plow be purchased.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, that we purchase a W arsaV plow for
$995.00 complete. Plow and Hitch and installed.
The proposed budget for 1964 was discussed.
