Meeting of theCoundil of Lino Lakes on April 27, 1964
Members present as follows: Mayor Domning; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Heckenliable,
and. Clerk Hauer.
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Backlin, second by
Speiser, they were accepted as read. Carried.
Hearing for Rezoning was held. Attorney Locher, read laws pertainging to rezoning.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, to adjourn the hearing until May 25, 1964.
Carried.
Gravel Bids were opened. One bid was received, that of Richard Schuh for 3,000 cupric
yards #1 $5,250.00, #2 $4,350.00, Pit Run $3,300.00, also a check of $262.50.
Engineer approves the bid. Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to accept the bid from
Schuh. Carried.
Board of Equalization will meet Tue.day the 23rd day of June at 7:30 pm.
Mr. Backlin, reports about crossing the Freeway with duct for sewage and so forth.
Engineer will give cost of duct. The cost for seal coat on Ware Read for about 14 miles
of $850.00.
Dick Hoekstra bid on road work on 4th Avenue, from Lilac to Main Street, at the cost of
a4 41/14.epa, $672.00, also on Baldwin Road cost of $224.00.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to have Hoekstra grade on 4th Avenue. Carried.
SpeEial Meeting at Doug Mathews, at 6:30, on April 29, 1964, about Baldwin Lake Road.
Mr. Speiser, asked about Flag poles and asked the Attorney questions about Corporation
Mr. Heckenlia.ble, reports on the recommendation from the Planning Board on the Kennel
and Trailer Ordinance.
Mr. Heckenliable, also asked about the Junior College Locations.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, that the council accepts Dr. Peikert, as
Health Officer. Carried.
Complaints for Health conditions were taken care of.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, for Constables to give warnings for the
junk cars in the area. Carried.
Juleen and Rosengren, will issue fire permits.
