Members present as follows: Mayor Downing; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Heckenliable
Clerk Bauer.
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on a motion bySpeiser, second by
Backlin, they were accept as read. Carried.

Mr. Backlin, reported on the

Speiser, to oil Ware Road at the cost of about $850.00.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to have the Engineer contact the County Attorney on
the Baldwin Lake Road. Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to grade West Holly Road at the approximate costs
of $992.00. Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by Heckenliable, to have the Engineer stake out Holly Road.
Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to put up post and signs on Ware Road. Carried,
Mr. Speiser, reports that the Flag Poles will be installed and that he has checked on
various Back Stops.
Motion by Speiser, second by Heckenliable, to have two Back Stops installed if the
cost is about $250.00 each. Carried.
Mr. Heckenliable, reported the Planning Meeting will be held on May 20, 1964, and
the Laison Meeting on May 18, 1964.
The Engineer, reported the cost of blacktopping the tennis court $1,600.00, with a
walk coat $2,600.00. Blacktop on the basketball court cost of $466.00. The grading of
the park at Luther's $500.00.
Special Meeting on May 18, 1964, at 8:00.
Motion by Domning, second by Speiser, that the Council is in favor of spraying for
Canker worms. Carried.

Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on May 25, 1964
Members present as follows: Mayor Donning, Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Heckenliable,
and Clerk Hauer.
The Hearing on the Dog Kennel's was held and on a motion by Heckenliable, and a second
by Backlin, it is to be postponed until June 8, 1964, at 8:00 PM. Carried.
Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on a motion by Speiser, second by Backlin,
they were accepted as read. Carried.
An application for 017 Sale 3.2 was received from 2ony Favorite from Tones Market on
Highway 8.
Motion by Speiser, second by Heckenliable, that the license be approved. Carried.
Mr. Heckenliable, discussed the possibility of Trailer owned lots in the Village.
Planning Board Meeting to beheld. on June 17, 1964.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, to Amend Ordinance 06 to read that puppies
or young dogs require a. license at the age of 6 months. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Hauer, to adopt Dog Kennel Ordinance #37 as per
Attorney copy. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to provide paper cups and holder at the
Village Hall. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backl ?n, to have the Engineer attend the Planning
Board Meeting with the feels coming from the Planning Fund. Carried.
The discussion on the Trailer Court Ordinance will be continued at the next meeting.
Mr. Backlin, reported that the Grading is being done on 4th Avenue, and will also
gravel 4th Avenue, Holly and Ware Roads.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to authorize the Fire Marshall to buy a Fire
Extinguisher. Carried.
Mr. Soeiser, reports that they will install two back stops at Sunrise Park at the
cost of $182.00 each. Also that the grass at the Parks will be cut as soon as
possible.
