Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to put in a culvert on Oaklane under Engineer's
spedification's because present culvert is broke and filled with dirt. Carried.
Mr. Speiser, reported that John Juleen purchased some equipment for kingo, but will
start the Bingo games at a later, date. Also, that the dedication of the Lino Park
will be held September 11, 1964, at 8:00 PM.
Mr. Ross, reported that a meeting will be held on August 24, 1964, at 5 :45 PM, at
the Centerville School, pertaining to the East County Line.
Motion by Domning, second by Speiser, for John Juleen to purchase nozzles and equip
ment for Fire Prevention. Carried.
Mr. Raymond, reported that in May they traveled 1225 miles and had 75 calls, in
June they had traveled 1652 miles and had 107 calls, in July they had traveled 1428
miles, and had 95 calls.
Motion by Downing, second by Speiser, that Mr. Backlin, be reimbursed for mileage,
Carried.

Minutes approved August 24, 1964
Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on August 24, 1964
Members present as follows: Mayor Domning; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Heckenliable,
and Clerk Hauer.
Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on a motion by Domning, second by Backlin
they were accepted as read. Carried.
Dick Schultz, represented the T. F. W. and asked about rezoning and about a 40' by
60' building for a T. F. W. Post. Mr. Strauss an adjoining property owner was
agreeable to the Y. It. W. Post.
Motion by Hauer, second by Heckenliable, to approve the cigarette license for
Ed Cegla. Carried.

Treasurer's Report: Money in the excess of $10,000.00 was discussed, possibly
Goverment short term bonds be purchased and also the Council discussed the pros and
cons due to the excess.
Mr. Backlin, discussed the meeting at Centerville Achool. Engineers of the two Counties
were present and it was decided that in 1965 the County will maintain the County Line.
He ordered a culvert for Oaklane.
The Engineer, reported the total cost for Ware Road will be approximately $1,000.00.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to approve the work on Ware Roadas per Engineer's
instructions. Carried.
The Engineer checked on Rehbein Road and discussed the possibilities of widening the
road.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to work with the Engineer and get a 661 right of
way. Carrie.
Mr. Speiser, reported that the Park Board Meeting would be held August 27, 1964, and
urged people to attend. He also reported that the grass has been cut agaili.
Mr. Heckenliable, discussed the Planning Board Meetind.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to add a resolution presuant to Ordinance
that if a member missed three (3) consecutive meetings, they be automaticsly removed from
office, of the Planning Board. Carried.
Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser, to adopt Ordinance #38. Backlin No,. Carried

Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes September 14, 1964
Members present as follows: Mayor Oomning; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Heckenliable,
and Clerk Hauer.
Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Heckenlialle, and second
by Speiser, they be accepted as read. Carried.
Ruth Redtor, asked for permission to use the Hall for Civil Defens$. Her reaues5
was approved.
The application for a set up license for Delored Peters of the Knotty Pine Inn, was
approved on a motion by Speiser, and a second by Heckenliable, Carried.
Mr. Backlin, reported that he asked the Engineer about a service road near the Free-
way for acess to the gravel pit. The Engineer is to check into this matter. He also
checked on the new homes in the area where the ditches were filled, but no culverts were
installed.
Mr. Backlin, second by Speiser, to have the Engineer stake out Rehbein Road and proceed
with the work on the road. Carried.
Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser, to order a. road sign for Rolling Hills Drtve.
Carried.
Mr. Speiser, thanks everyone for the dedication of the Parks. He also wants to thank
Forest Lake Band and the Y.F.W.
Start Bingo on Thursday ".Tights in October. The Bingo is to be held at the 49 Club.
Motion by Backlin, second by Heckenliable, that theBuilding Inspector to authorise
to add $50.00 for a culvrt if needed, if not it would be returned. Carried.
Mr. Heckenliable, reported that he will not seun for the office of Trustee next term.
Also Flyod Miller will not be on the Planning Board due to other commitmants.
