SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 3,1999

MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden,
Mayor Sullivan
MEMBERS ABSENT : Neal
The purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates for positions on the Park Board,
Planning and Zoning Board, and Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC).
It is the consensus of the City Council to complete the appointment process and have
board and committee appointments completed so that the new rnembers can take their
positions effective March 1, 1999.
Each Council Member received three (3) handouts. The firs h it contained the
questions that would be directed to each candidate The second outlined the dates and
names of the candidates who will be interview in F . The third handout was the
Criteria for Board Appointments, a brief quetionnre designed to assist the city council
in determining the qualifications for potentialadvisory board members, from each
candidate to be interviewed.
