• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 29, 2001 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />DATE : May 29, 2001 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED : 8:30 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell, Reinert, and Mayor Bergeson <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />Staff members present: Administration Director, Dan Tesch; City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; City <br />Engineer, John Powell; Finance Director, Al Rolek (part); Economic Development Director, Brian <br />Wessel; Community Development Director, Mike Grochala; and Public Services Director, Rick <br />DeGardner <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Bergeson noted item 7F, Resolution No. 01 — 71, Apes Marketplace EAW for <br />Distribution, will be addressed first under Community De <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council Member Carlson moved to app <br />Dahl seconded the motion. Council Member <br />ously. <br />ITEM ., ACTION <br />DISBURSEMENTS: <br />May 29, 2001 (Che N e 61825 — <br />61927, $189,994.79) Approved <br />Centennial Fire District <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Ms. Lynn Heaser, 218 Aggrate Lane, came forward and asked for follow up information regarding the <br />meeting that was held at the Minnesota Department of Transportation relating to Highway 49. <br />Approved <br />City Engineer Powell advised he has met with the County Engineer and the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation. Design options have been discussed. A recap of the discussion will be given at the <br />next Council work session. There is support for a 45 -mph speed limit as long as the design of the <br />road is to slow down the speed on the roadway. <br />
