17 Mayor Bergeson called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. He advised the purpose of the
18 meeting is the City Administrator performance review.
19
20 Mr. Brull explained that under Minnesota law, performance reviews are conducted in
21 closed session, unless requested to be open by the subject of the review. Administrator
22 Heitke declined requesting the meeting to be open.

24 Council Member Stoltz moved to close the meeting to the public at 5:12 p.m. Council
25 Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

27 The closed portion of the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting re -opened
28 at 6:45 p.m.

30 Mr. Brull indicated that he would prepare a public written summary of the review that
31 would be provided to council members and the Mayor. The Mayor will report at the
32 council meeting.

34 The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.

37 August 13, 2007.

16 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; Director of Administration, Dan Tesch;
17 Director of Public Safety, Dave Pecchia; Legal Counsel, Scott Lepak

19 Mayor Bergeson called the special meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Councilmember O'Donnell moved
20 to close the meeting as allowed under Minnesota state statutes to discuss internal affairs data.
21 Councilmember Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

23 The Council returned to the Open Meeting. Motion was made by Councilmember O'Donnell,
24 seconded by Stoltz to terminate Melinda Brown. Motion carried 3-1, Councilmember Carlson voting
25 nay.

27 There being no further business, Councilmember O'Donnell moved to adjourn at 5:05 p.m.
28 Councilmember Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
