RESOLUTION NO. 14-136
APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR EDWARD JONES FINANCIAL
WHEREAS, Philip Sottjen, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Financial, has submitted a
peddlers license application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Philip Sottjen has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the Lino
Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on the
company representatives that will be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. Philip Sottjen;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves
the request of Philip Sottjen, Edward Jones Financial, to travel throughout Lino Lakes offering
financial services door to door for a period of six -months beginning November 25th, 2014 and
ending May 25th, 2014.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of November, 2014.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Rafferty, Roeser, Kusterman, Stoesz, Reinert
