RESOLUTION NO. 14-141
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
BIRCH STREET & CENTERVILLE ROAD STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City is proposing to construct a 2nd Fire Station located in the southeast
quadrant of Birch Street and Centerville Road; and
WHEREAS, development of the property will require the extension of trunk sanitary sewer,
installation of sanitary sewer and water main laterals, and the construction of turn lanes and a
bypass lane at proposed access points; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed
with the preparation of plans and specifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. WSB and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The
engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
2. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with WSB and
Associate, Inc., in the amount of $99,900.00.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of November, 2014.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member . - and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor the
Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, Kusterma Reiner
The following voted against same:
