ORDINANCE NO. 18-99
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND A DRAINAGE
EASEMENT IN THE BEHM'S CENTURY FARM 5TH ADDITION
The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain.
I.
That it is in the best interest of the City and the property owners to vacate the following
described properties:
A. Laurie Avenue between Palomino Lane and Carl Street.
B. The north 3' of Palomino Lane (old Thomas Avenue) between Sunset Road
and Mustang Lane.
C. A 40' wide drainage easement from a point 130 south of old Thomas Avenue
to the south line of Outlot B, Sunset Oaks Addition (Lino Air Park property).
NOTE: This easement will be replaced with an easement between Lots 11 & 12,
Block 3 and Lots 2 & 3, Block 4, Behm's Century Farm 5th Addition.
II.
That the City of Lino Lakes held a Public Hearing before the City Council on June 14,
1999 and continued to September 27, 1999 after due published and posted notice had
been given on June 1 and June 8, 1999 and all persons interested were given an
opportunity to be heard.
This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication
according to the Lino Lakes City Charter.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Council
Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor: Sullivan, Dahl, Lyden, Bergeson, Neal

Dear Mary Kay:
Re: Street and Utility easement vacations for Behm's Century Farm 5th Addition
The following streets and utility easements will need to be vacated as part of the Behm's
Cerntury Farm 5th Addition. See Attached Sketch.
1. Mustang Lane (old Laurie Ave) between Palomino (old Thomas Ave) and Carl
Street.
2. The north 3 feet of Palomino Lane (old Thomas Ave) between Sunset Road and
'a. Mustang Lane. The existing ROW is 66 feet wide. This vacation will reduce the
north half to 30 feet in width and allow for deeper lots on the northside of the street.
3. 40 foot wide drainage easement from a point on the existing east -west drainage
easement, which is approximately 130 feet south of old Thomas Ave, to the south line
of Outlot B, Sunset Oaks Addition (the Lino Air Park property) This easement will
be replaced with an easement between Lots 11 & 12 Block 3 and Lots 2 & 3 block 4
in Behm's Century Farm 5th Addition.
