Elliott introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption:

Ordinance No. 19 - 95
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LINO LAKES CITY CODE BY
CLARIFYING COMPENSATION FOR PARK BOARD MEMBERS
The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does hereby
ordain:
1.
Appointment and Compensation of Members, Section 21 1.05 of the Lino Lakes City Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
211.05. Appointment and Compensation of Members. The Board shall consist of
seven (7) members and they shall be appointed by a majority of the City Council and shall
receive a quarterly salary of $150.00 ($50.00 per meeting) with the chair of the Board to
received $225.00 per quarter ($75.00 per meeting) consistent with the Mayor/Council
relationship. Members will not be paid for meetings that they miss. However, if a
Member misses a regularly scheduled meeting but attends a special Park Board meeting,
compensation will be paid for the special meeting.
II.
Save as above amended, said City Code shall stand as initially passed and as previously
amended.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect January 1, 1996 after its passage and
publication according to the City Charter.
Passes by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of November , 1995.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Council
Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor:
Bergeson, Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert.
The following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said ordinance was declared duly passed and adopted.
