HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-013 Council OrdinancesCouncil Member Elliott introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA ORDINANCE NO: 13 — 94 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING NEW PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE BY ADDING SECTION 208.10 COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER AND 208.11 POLICE RESERVES The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: I. Section 208 Police Department is hereby amended by adding two (2) sections as follows: 208.10 Community Service Officer. A person holding the position of community service officer in the Lino Lakes Police Department may, under the direction of the Chief of Police, issue citations in lieu of arrest for violations of Ordinances No. 502, #503, #506, 1607, #802, 1901, #1006.. II. Save as above amended, said City Code shall stand as initially passed and as previously amended. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to the City Charter. Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of September, 1994. ATTEST: ✓/LEGE Marilyn Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken ORDINANCE NO. 13 - 94 Page -2 thereon, the following voted in favor: Bergeson, Elliott, Neal. The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether and Mayor Reinert were absent. Whereupon said ordinance was declared duly passed and adopted.
