CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 15-10
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 01-15
CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second readings of Ordinance No. 01-
15, amending the Cable Television Franchise Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-15 is lengthy and Minn. Statute 412.191 provides for a city to
publish a summary of an ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the
intent and effect of the ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed
copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes
hereby approves the summary of Ordinance No. 01-15, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for
publication according to State Law and City Charter.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day of January, 2015.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member Kusterman and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Roeser, Kusterman, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 01-15
CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
The purpose of the ordinance amendment is to extend the Cable Franchise with Comcast of
Minnesota through December 31, 2020 and to update the PEG channel commitments of Comcast
consistent with the Franchise Settlement Agreement that was approved by the Lino Lakes City
Council on January 12, 2015.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on January 26, 2015.
