Topic: Consider Resolution No. 03-205, Amending Police
Department Portion of 2003 Fee Schedule
Votes Required: Simple Majority (3/5)
Background
The proposed amendment to the Police Department portion of the current Fee
Schedule accomplishes two things, stemming from changes in state law or police
department procedures. The first is the addition of a fee of $100 per vehicle for charged
incurred in the process of forfeiting vehicles in certain felony crimes and drug or alcohol-
related incidents. The second change is the removal of language aimed at handgun
permits, which are no longer handled by local law enforcement agencies.
The recommended action formally makes these changes via resolution.
