Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption.
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 01-149
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR
HIGHLAND MEADOWS WEST 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a request has been submitted to the City for the approval of a final plat, and
WHEREAS, review and approvals of plats are governed by state statutes and City
ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Highland Meadows West 3rd Addition was approved
with Resolution 01-91 by the City Council on July 9, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the final plat for Highland Meadows West 3rd Addition received by the City
September 6, 2001 complies with City requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes hereby approves the final plat for Highland Meadows West 3rd Addition.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council thjs-a 2 day of , 2001.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Reinerland upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Dahl, Reinert, Bergeson, Carlson & O'Donnell
The following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

Final Plat, Highland Meadows West 3rd Addition

The City Council approved the preliminary plat on July 9 with Resolution 01-91 The
developer has submitted a final plat for approval.
The City requires a number of things for a final plat approval. These include:
• Final plat must substantially conform to the approved preliminary plat, which it does.
• Development agreement must be completed, including financial securities. We have
a development agreement.
• Title must be reviewed by City Attorney. This has been completed.
• Conditions of approval must be met.
The conditions of approval are addressed with the development agreement. This plat is
the first to include both land and cash park dedication under the new policy. The two
park areas make up 0.72 acres. The cash dedication is $94,725.
OPTIONS
1. Approve Resolution 01-149 approving the final plat of Highland Meadows West 3rd
Addition.
2. Return to staff with direction.
