RESOLUTION NO. 01-156
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS — LINO LAKES MARKETPLACE STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 27th day of August, 2001, fixed
a date for a council hearing on the proposed improvement for Lino Lakes Marketplace
by constructing sanitary sewer, watermain, street and storm sewer.
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given, and the hearing was held earlier this evening, at which time all persons desiring
to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The City Engineer, John Powell, is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th da September, 2001.

The, motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member 0' Donnell J and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bergeson, Dahl, Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert
The following voted against same: none
Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.

TOPIC: Resolution No. 01-156, Order the Improvement and Preparation of
Plans and Specifications for Lino Lakes Marketplace Improvements

BACKGROUND:
After the Public Hearing for this is held, the next step in the Public Improvement
Process is to order the improvement and preparation of the plans and
specifications. According to the schedule in the Feasibility Report, the plans and
specifications would be submitted to the City Council for your consideration at
the November 26, 2001, meeting.
OPTIONS:
1. Return to staff for further review.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 01-156 order the improvement and preparation of plans
and specifications for the Lino Lakes Marketplace Improvement project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Option No. 2 - Adopt Resolution No. 01-156 order the improvement and
preparation of plans and specifications for the Lino Lakes Marketplace project.
