RESOLUTION NO. 02-75
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM THE
CIRCLE -LEX LIONS CLUB FOR THE YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club supports the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation
Department and,
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department is administering the football
program; and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has expressed their desire to assist the city in providing
equipment to the teams in this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, the
Council accepts the $750 donation from the Circle -Lex Lions Club to help purchase team
equipment for the Youth Football Program.

Accepting Donation from Circle -Lex Lions Club for
Youth Football Program
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND:
This is the second year the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department has operated
the youth football program. One of the program's priorities this year is to provide
additional equipment for teams such as blocking dummies and blocking shields.
The Circle -Lex Lions Club has graciously donated $750 to purchase additional
equipment for the youth football program. The Parks and Recreation staff, coaches,
and players wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for this donation.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution 02-75, accepting donation from Circle -Lex Lions Club for the
Youth Football Program.
2. Do not approve Resolution 02-75.
RECOMMENDATION:
Option 1.
