RESOLUTION NO. 02-99
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
— WELL NO. 4 BOOSTER PUMP, CLEARWATER CREEK.
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Well No. 4
Booster Pump, Clearwater Creek project, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Encomm Midwest, LLC $114,411.00 ($1,750.00) No Bid
Municipal Builders, Inc. $122,400.00 ($1,200.00) No Bid
Shank Constructors, Inc. $126,100.00 No Bid No Bid
Springlake Construction $143,000.00 ($1,800.00) No Bid
Engineer's Estimate $126,500.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Encomm Midwest, LLC is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Encomm Midwest, LLC, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the
construction of the Well No. 4 Booster Pump, Clearwater Creek according to the
plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of August 2002.
