RESOLUTION NO. 02-100
RESOLUTION APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB REQUEST TO
CONDUCT OFF-SITE GAMBLING
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 349 requires organizations to be licensed
by the Charitable Gambling Control Board, and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has acquired said license, and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has made application to hold their annual off-
site gambling activity to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on September 28, 2002,
and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requests the City of Lino Lakes to
approve or deny this application by resolution
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby
approves the off-site gambling activities of the Lino Lakes Lions Club being conducted at
St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of August, 2002
