RESOLUTION NO. 02-119
RESOLUTION TERMINATING ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS CONTRACT
WITH K.L. PETERSON, D/B/A SUBURBAN INSPECTIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes entered into a contract with K. L. Peterson, Inc.,
doing business as Suburban Inspections, to perform electrical inspections; and
WHEREAS, Section 8 of the contract specifies the insurance requirements the contractor
must meet; and
WHEREAS, Section 8.4 of the contract states the City may "immediately terminate this
Contract for failure of Contractor to ... comply with the insurance requirements;" and
WHEREAS, the contractor's insurance coverage expires September 10, 2002 and he has
indicated he will not renew it
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes hereby terminates the electrical inspections contract with K. L. Peterson, Inc.,
doing business as Suburban Inspections.
