RESOLUTION NO. 02-173
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF GRANT FUNDS FROM TARGET
CORPORATION TO PURCHASE DIGITAL CAMERA EQUIPMENT FOR
POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS,
digital camera technology has been established as an effective tool in law
enforcement; and
Target Corporation has established a grant fund to assist police
departments in obtaining new digital camera equipment; and
the Police Department has applied for this grant award and been selected
as the recipient; and
Target Corporation has made a donation of these grant funds in the
amount of $964.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the cost of digital camera
equipment; and
the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following
manner:
Increase Revenue - Contributions
Increase Expenditures - Capital Outlay
$964.00
$964.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts
the donation of $964.00 for the cost of digital camera equipment and wishes to express its
gratitude to Target Corporation for selecting the Lino Lakes Police Department to receive
these grant funds.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of November, 2002.

The Lino Lakes Police Department has made application for and has been
selected to receive grant funds from Target Corporation in the amount of $964, which
would go toward the purchase of a digital camera.
The Lino Lakes Police Department is in need of digital camera, and these funds
would be sufficient to cover the cost of the camera. The grant funds need to be accepted
before yearend.
Attached Resolution No. 02-173 formally accepts the grant funds.
