A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE DEPARTMENT OF
NATURAL RESOURCES COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM CALLED
"INTEGRATING NATURAL RESOURCE GUIDANCE TO ENHANCE SMART
GROWTH IN WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE COMMUNITIES"
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has initiated a program
called "Integrating Natural Resource Guidance To Enhance Smart Growth In Wildland-
Urban Interface Communities", and
WHEREAS, The funding from this program is coming from the Department of Natural
Resources and the U.S. Forest Service, and
WHEREAS, The Project offers a good opportunity to enhance and complement the City
�-- of Lino Lakes Environmental Inventory and Management Plan, and
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is interested in working
with The City of Lino Lakes and our neighboring City of Hugo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. That the City of Lino Lakes supports collaborative efforts of the Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources with the city of Lino. Lakes
