HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-058 Council ResolutionCouncil Member (24451Z -C --,..S0 introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 00-58 CABARET LICENSE WHEREAS, Saint Joseph Catholic Church has paid the sum of twenty dollars to the Treasurer of said City as required by the Ordinances of said City and complied with all the requirements of said Ordinances necessary for obtaining this License. NOW, THEREFORE, by order of the City Council, and by virtue hereof, the said Saint Joseph Catholic Church is hereby licensed and authorized to conduct the annual "August Festival at 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes, Minnesota for the period starting August 12, 2000 and ending August 13, 2000 subject to all the conditions and provisions of said Ordinances. The August Festival is a major fundraising event for Saint Joseph Parish. Each year a cabaret license is required for Saturday, August 13, 2000. In the past, the Parish held a dance on Saturday evening. The church has confirmed security will be managed as in the past. Please note there have been no reported problems with the festival in the past. OPTIONS: 1. Approve Resolution 2000-58 2. Deny Resolution 2000-58 RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommendation is option 1
