CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 00-65
RENEWAL APPLICATION TO PERMIT GAMBLING AT MILLERS ON MAIN
FOR THE CENTENNIAL FIGHTERS RELIEF ASSOCATION
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Council met at it's regularly scheduled
Meeting of May 22, 2000, and
WHEREAS, Lino Lakes City Council discussed the Lawful Gambling of the Centennial
Fire Fighters Relief Association to conduct gambling at 8001 Lake Drive,
Lino Lakes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the Centennial
Fire Fighters Relief Association; and
WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association is in compliance with City
Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association appears to take into
consideration the best interest of the City of Lino Lakes,
NOV THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LINO LAKES approves the charitable gambling activity of pull tabs by
the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association at 8001 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes.
Approved by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 22nd day of May 2000.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Z and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor

Renewal Premises Permit Application for the
Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association
Simple Majority (3/5 Vote)
The City received a premises permit renewal application for the Centennial Fire Fighters
Relief Association. The Fire Fighters would like to continue participating in gambling
activities at 8001 Lake Street, Lino Lakes. The Police Department is conducting a
criminal history check on Brian Colvard, Desmond Englund and Kathy Mischke who are
authorized representatives from Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association. The City
has not experienced any difficulty with this organization acquiring a gambling permit.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution 2000-65
2. Deny Resolution 2000-65
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommendation is option 1
