RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 89
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE SUFFICIENCY OF A PETITION FOR A
REFERENDUM ON ORDINANCE NO. 03 - 89
WHEREAS: a petition requesting a referendum on Ordinance No.
03 - 89 was received by the City Clerk on June 6,
1989, and
WHEREAS: the City Clerk has examined the petition and has
determined that the petition is correct in form and
contains the signature of 229 qualified voters
which is 7% of the voters in the 1988 General
Election,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
That the Council does determine that the Petition for
Referendum on Ordinance No. 03 - 89 is sufficient and the
matter will be placed on the ballot at the November 7,
1989 City Election.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of June,
1989.
