RESOLUTION NO. 62 - 89
RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF LINDA AVENUE IN ROHAVIC
OAKS, SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS: a portion of the platted street Linda Avenue has
been platted into a lot in Rohavic Oaks, Second
Addition as shown on the attached map, and
WHEREAS: this replat of a portion of Linda Avenue has been
reviewed by the City Engineer and the City Public
Works Director and not adverse future problems were
noted, and
WHEREAS: a public hearing was held on September 11, 1989
before the City Council in the city hall after due
published and posted notice had been given by the
Clerk on August 21, 1989 and August 29, 1989 and
all persons interested were given an opportunity to
be heard; and
WHEREAS: it appears that it will be for the best interest of
the City to vacate such portion of Linda Avenue
described as, "that part of Linda Avenue as
dedicated in Rohavic Oaks, Anoka County, Minnesota,
lying west of the northerly extension of the east
line of Lot 14, Block 2, said Rohavic Oaks".
WHEREAS: four fifths of all the members of the Council
concur in this resolution,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the portion of the
Linda Avenue described above and shown on the attached map is
hereby vacated.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this llth
day of September, 1989.
