RESOLUTION NO. 75 - 89
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT OF
24TH AVENUE (ELMCREST AVENUE) FROM MAIN STREET SOUTH TO ASH
STREET
WHEREAS:
it is proposed to improve 24th Avenue (Elmcrest
Avenue) by upgrading this street to City standards
and to assess the benefited property for all or a
portion of the costs of the improvement, pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 and Chapter 8 of
the Lino lakes Home Rule Charter,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to City
Engineer Dan Boxrud for study and that he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether
it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the
�- improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the Council this 27th day of November, 1989.
