CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 90
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PORTABLE GENERATOR
WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a
portable generator, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

Interstate Detroit Diesel $26,810.00

Stuart Austin/Flaherty Equipment Corp. $28,959.00
750 Southwest 1st. Street
New Brighton, Mn.
AND WHEREAS,
it appears that Ziegler, Inc., 901 West 94th
Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder for a used portable
generator,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the attached contract with
Ziegler, Inc, 901 West 94th Street, Minneapolis,
Minnesota for the used portable generator according to
the plans and specifications therefor approved by the
City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 20th day of
December, 1990.

The motion for the adoption the adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Bohjanen and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Neal, Kuether, Bisel, Reinert, Bohjanen.
The following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.
