HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-016 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 16 — 91 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PETITIONED DETACHMENT AND ANNEXATION OF THE LYNDA PETERSON PROPERTY. WHEREAS, Lynda Peterson a resident and property owner within the corporate limits of Centerville has petitioned the Minnesota Municipal Board for detachment from Centerville and annexation to Lino Lakes; and, WHEREAS, The Peterson land is contiguous with Lino Lakes; and, WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes can and will provide city services to the Peterson property; and, WHEREAS, The City of Centerville is unable to provide the service level of Lino Lakes; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA: That the City of Lino Lakes supports the petitioned action initiated by Lynda Peterson and referenced as case D-270 by the Minnesota Municipal Board. The following voted against same: None, Council Member Bohjanen was absent. Where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
