RESOLUTION NO. 17 -91
A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF 1989 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING TO THE
ACQUISITION OF BLIGHTED PROPERTY IN THE FLOODPLAIN.
WHEREAS,
In 1989 the City of Lino Lakes was granted Federal
Community Development Block Grant Funds administered
through Anoka County, and
WHEREAS, $17,037.00 of those 1989 dollars were initially
designated for economic development planning, and
WHEREAS, The city spent $8,318.89 on a housing study, but due
to additional restrictions on planning projects no
other projects met eligibility requirements, and
WHEREAS, The city is presently involved in a multi-year CDBG
Surface Water Management/Blighted Property Project
for which those 1989 dollars may be used, and
WHEREAS, The Anoka County Board of Commissioners requires the
City of Lino Lakes to pass a resolution amending
CDBG designations,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby
desires to amend the designation of it's 1989 CDBG
Economic Development Planning funds to it's 1991
Surface Water Management/Blighted Floodplain Property
Project.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th Day of
March , 1991.
