RESOLUTION NO. 72 - 91
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COST RECOVERY PROCEDURES
FOR ORTHOPHOTO CONTOUR MAPS
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has entered into a contract with Horizons, Inc., of Rapid
City, South Dakota, for preparation of orthophoto contour maps (scale of 1" = 200' and 2'
intervals). The maps shall conform to the Anoka County format for 1/2 section maps.
WHEREAS, blue line prints of the maps will be available in the Lino Lakes City Hall for
inspection and review. The original maps will be on file in the Lino Lakes City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. Resolution 76-87 is hereby rescinded.
2. Copies of the maps will be made available for the cost of $50.00 each per 1/2 section
sheet. If more than one copy of each sheet is requested, the cost of each additional copy
shall be $5.00 per sheet.
3. The City will collect a fee of $10.00 per acre on all plats prior to the plat being submitted
to the Planning Commission for preliminary review.
4. The City will also charge a fee of $90.00 per Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) for each
lot platted which will be paid by the developer as a part of the cash escrow at the time of
completion of the development agreement. For existing properties or other properties
not subject to the platting process, this charge of $90.00 per REU will be assessed along
with the City improvements or may be paid in cash at that time.
5. This policy will become effective on the date of adoption of this resolution.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of August, 1991.
