RESOLUTION ADOPTING
PERSONAL COMPUTER PURCHASE PLAN
WHEREAS, it has been posed that the City establish a purchase plan to assist
employees in the purchase of personal computers; and
WHEREAS, the objective of such a plan would be to increase computer literacy
skills of City employees by exposure to the use of personal computers at home; and
WHEREAS, the use of personal computers at home would increase the
familiarity and ease with which City employees use computers and computer
technology; and
WHEREAS, an Employee Personal Computer Plan has been proposed as set
forth in Exhibit "A" appear to be reasonable and proper; and
WHEREAS, it would be reasonable and proper to include City Council members
in the purchase plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes that the Employee Personal Computer Purchase Plan attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A" be and hereby is approved, and the
City Administrator be and hereby is authorized to implement the terms set forth in the
Employee Personal Computer Purchase Plan.
This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and without
publication.
