HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-129 Council Resolution�--- Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-129 RESOLUTION VACATING STREETS AND PUBLIC EASEMENTS IN LAKES ADDITION NO. 7, LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: Black Duck Estates and Black Duck Estates 2nd Addition has been platted over the existing Lakes Addition No. 7, and new streets and public easements have been dedicated, and In order to obtain clear title to the property known as Black Duck Estates and Black Duck Estates 2nd Addition the developer has requested that the streets and public easements platted as a part of Lakes Addition No. 7 be vacated, and The description of streets and public easements to be vacated are as follows: Reshanau Lane and Reshanau Court as platted and dedicated in Lakes Addition No. 7, Anoka County, Minnesota and All streets and drainage and utility easements in the plat of Lakes Addition No. 7, Anoka County, Minnesota and The ponding and flowage easements as described in Doc. No. 579453, 579454, and 579455 which cover any lots or outlots in Lakes Addition No. 7, Anoka County, Minnesota and A public hearing was held on November 9, 1992 before the City Council in the City Hall after due published and posted notice had been given by the Clerk on October 27, 1992 and November 3, 1992 and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard, and The requested vacation has been reviewed by the City Engineer and the City Public Works Director and no adverse future problems were noted, and It appears that it will be for the best interest of the City to vacate such streets and public easements and Four fifths of all the members of the Council concur in �-' this Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all streets and public easements described in Lakes Addition No. 7 shall be vacated.
