The route would require a right-of-way/easement acquisition as the federal government does not allow electric transmission lines within the I-35 corridor. 3. The line would not be centrally located in relation to its service area, as it would border an Anoka Electric Service district to the west. 4. The NSP line would lie parallel to an Anoka Electric line. Thus some inefficiencies exist in the duplication of power poles. 5. The NSP line would overlay existing wetland and environmentally sensitive areas. WHEREAS; the Council recognizes the impacts of the proposed NSP transmission line routing Option #13, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council, upon review of the proposed NSP power transmission line routing Option #13, formally opposes the selection of this Option #13. Adopted this 26th day of October, 1992. Vernon F.
