HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-069 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 69 A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE SERVICE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LAKE DRIVE, EAST SIDE OF SECOND AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted on March 14, 1994, a report has been prepared by SEH, Toltz, King, Duvall and Associates with reference to the improvement, and this report was received by the City Council on April 11, 1994; and WHEREAS, 51% of the affected property owners do not support the improvement project as required by Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter, and WHEREAS, the proposed funding of a portion of the improvement by the Minnesota Department of Transportation has been eliminated from the Lake Drive (CSAH 23)/Highway 49 Improvement project; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: The City Council hereby determines not to undertake the improvement proposed in the Council resolution adopted on March 14, 1994. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of September, 1994. /57/ - Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Neal. The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether and Mayor Reinert were absent. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
