HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-088 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 88 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND THE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR LAKEVIEW PLACE/LAMOTTE DRIVE DITCH CLEANING WHEREAS, the City Council has resolved to proceed with the cleaning, revegetation and installation of storm sewer in a portion of the ditch that is located on the west side of the St. Paul Water Works aqueduct and south of LaMotte Circle and has directed that plans and specifications be prepared therefor, and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, it is desirable that the project be completed this fall to prevent winter flooding in this area, and the total cost of the improvement will be less than $25,000.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed as outlined by Rocky Keehn, SEH at the City Council work session of Wednesday, October 5, 1994. 2. Rocky Keehn, SEH is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement and solicit quotations from a minimum of three (3) contractors for the ditch cleaning and pipe installation. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this llth day of October, 1994. ';;) Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor Marily G. Marily G.'Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert. The following against same: none. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
