HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-074 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 74 RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT, CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition dated May 31, 1995, requesting a report studying the roadway, utility service and traffic impact for construction of a new school facility on Elm Street, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035 and Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter. 2. The petition is hereby referred to David Mitchell, OSM, and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of June, 1995. Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor Marileyn G Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Elliott, Neal, Reinert. The following voted against same: None, Council Member Kuether was absent. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
