HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-078 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Neal adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION 96-78 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY CLERK -TREASURER AS THE RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY FOR THE MINNESOTA DATA PRACTICES ACT. WHEREAS, The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn SS 13.01-99, regulates the collection, creation, storage, maintenance, dissemination and access to government data in all cities, and WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Administration has promulgated rules to assist in the implementation of state statutes, and WHEREAS, The city council of each city must designate a city employee as the responsible authority who is responsible for the collection, use and dissemination of government data, and WHEREAS, The City Clerk -Treasurer is responsible for all records and data collected for the City of Lino Lakes; NOW THEREFORE BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: That the City Clerk be designated the Responsible Authority for the City of Lino Lakes as it relates to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
