CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 95
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX LIONS
CLUB
WHEREAS, the City is a member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association;
and;
WHEREAS, the City sends all of their youth recreational coaches to the certification
classes offered by this association; and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has supported the City's effort to certify all
youth coaches; and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has made a contribution of $1,000.00 to defer
some of the costs of this program, and
,.....- WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following
manner:
Increase Revenue - Contributions
Increase Expenditures
National Youth Sports Coaches Assn.
$1,000.00
$1,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts
the donation of $1,000.00 to cover one-half of the certification fee for this summers youth
sports coaches and wishes to express its gratitude to the Circle -Lex Lions Club for its
donation.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Dahl, Lyden, Sullivan.

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
