CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 99-59
RESOLUTION APPROVING A LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR THE ANOKA COUNTY
I-35W/LAKE DRIVE INTERCHANGE RECONSTRUCTION FUNDING REQUEST
WHEREAS, Anoka County is submitting a request for Federal funding for the reconstruction of
the I-35W/Lake Drive interchange, and
WHEREAS, Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes have coordinated transportation planning
including the plan for reconstructing this interchange, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes supports the reconstruction of this interchange and will also
participate in the cost of reconstruction, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
The City of Lino Lakes supports Anoka County's request for Federal Surface Transportation
Funding and authorizes the City Engineer to send a letter of support to Anoka County
indicating their support.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member
Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Sullivan, Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal
The following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
