HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-133 Council ResolutionCouncil Member adoption: /1.ye1eV 1 introduced the following resolution and moved its CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 99 -133 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPT PERMIT LG 220 TO PERMIT BINGO AND RAFFLES SAINT JOESPH'S PARISH WHEREAS, the Saint Joseph's Parish have made request to the City of Lino Lakes to conduct bingo and raffles at its "Turkey Bingo," and WHEREAS, the bingo and raffle event is proposed to be held at 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes, on Sunday, November 19, 2000 between 11:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes to acknowledge and approve the application prior to the States consideration, and WHEREAS, on behalf of the City, the Council acknowledges this application and three options for the city: 1. Approve the application: By taking no action, the city allows the Board to issue a permit after 30 days. 2. Waive the above-mentioned waiting period: The city allows the Board to issue a permit before 30 days. 3. Deny the application by passing a rejection resolution with in 30 days of the event. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby grants authorization to approve Saint Joseph's Parish Lawful Gambling Application for Exempt Permit to conduct bingo and raffles at the above-mentioned location and date. NOW, THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes hereby does grant permission to conduct bingo and raffles on Sunday, November 19, 2000, at Saint Joseph's Parish 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes, Minnesota. You have the right to refuse to supply the information requested; however, if you refuse to supply this information, the Board may not be able to determine your qualifications and, as a consequence, may refuse to issue you a permit. If you supply the information requested, the Board will be able to process your application. Your name and and your organization's name and address will be public information when received by the Board. All the other information that you provide will be private data about you until the Board issues your permit. When the Board issues your permit, all of the information that you have provided to the Board in the process of applying for your permit will become public. Utile Board does not issue you a permit, all the information you have provided in the process of applying for a permit remains private, with the exception of your name and your organization's name and address which will remain public. Private data about you are available only to the following: Board members, staff of the Board whose work assignment requires that they have access to the information; the Minnesota Department of Public Safety; the Minnesota Attorney General; the Minnesota Commissioners of Administration, Finance, and Revenue; the Minnesota Legislative Auditor, national and intemational gambling regulatory agencies; anyone pursuant to court order, other individuals and agencies that are specifically authorized by state or federal law to have access to the information; individuals and agencies for which law or legal order authorizes a new use or sharing of information after this Notice was given; and anyone with your consent.
