RESOLUTION NO. 15-078
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE FIRE STATION NO. 2 PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution 15-20 of the Council adopted February 23, 2015, awarding the
contract for the Fire Station No. 2 project to Jorgenson Construction;
WHEREAS, a complete summary of costs are detailed in Change Order No. 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that
Change Order No. 1 is approved in the amount of $42,727.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27 day of July, 2015.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, Kusterman, Reinert

TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 15-078, Approving Change Order No. 1
Fire Station No. 2 Project

INTRODUCTION
Staff is requesting council action to approve Change Order No. 1 of the Fire Station No. 2
Project.
BACKGROUND
Revisions to the Fire Station No. 2 site plan were necessary as part of the Rice Creek Watershed
District and Anoka County Highway Department permit requirements. The details of these
revisions can be found in the attached CNH Memorandum. The cost associated with Change Order
No. 1 is $42,727.00. The Fire Station No. 2 Project original contact amount was $3,847,100.00.
With the approval of Change Order No. 1, the new contract amount will be $3,889,827.00. The
project contingency can accommodate this change order. Quinn Hutson, CNH Architects, will be in
attendance at the council meeting to answer any questions.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 15-078, Approving Change Order No. 1 for the Lino Lakes Fire Station
No. 2 Project in the amount of $42,727.00 to Jorgenson Construction.
