RESOLUTION NO. 15-120
APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF LINO LAKES AND THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE
REGARDING MAINTENANCE OF WEST CEDAR STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Centerville and the City of Lino Lakes entered into an
agreement to pave West Cedar Street.
WHEREAS, the City of Centerville and the City of Lino Lakes desire to enter into a
Joint Powers Agreement to provide ongoing maintenance to West Cedar Street.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino
Lakes approves the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Centerville regarding
maintenance on West Cedar Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of November, 2015.

Consider Resolution 15-120, Approving the Joint Powers
Agreement between the City of Lino Lakes and the City of
Centerville Regarding Maintenance of West Cedar Street

Staff is requesting approval of the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) between the City of Lino
Lakes and the City of Centerville regarding maintenance of West Cedar Street.
BACKGROUND
The City Council approved Resolution No. 15-113 on the October 12, 2015 for improvements
to West Cedar Street. The improvements included the grading and paving of West Cedar
Street. Now that the roadway is paved, a JPA for ongoing maintenance of West Cedar Street is
being presented. The Agreement was approved by the Centerville City Council on October 28,
2015.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution No. 15-120 approving the Joint Powers
Agreement between the City of Lino Lakes and the City of Centerville Regarding Maintenance
of West Cedar Street.
