Ffff icr <br />AND SUMMARY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08-167, <br />an ordinance creating a Golf Course Community Zoning District within Article XIL Urban <br />Residential Districts of the Zoning Code of the Lake Elmo City Code of Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance is lengthy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inforni <br />the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREWRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Eltno, <br />that the City: Clerk shall cause the following suramary of Ordinance No. 08-167 to be published in <br />the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: <br />The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08-167, which: <br />Section 1. Creates a Golf Course Community (GCC) Zoning District -within Article X11- Urban <br />sidential <br />the Golf Course Cbmmunity Zoning District is below: <br />The district is intended to pen -nit urban residential developments in conjunction with a <br />golf course. <br />* Densities within the district range from 1.4 to 1.65 units per acre. <br />• Permitted and conditional uses within the district include single-family detached <br />dwelling, secondary dwelling, wayside stand, golf course, outdoor recreation, indoor <br />athletic facility, and parks and open space. <br />• Permitted and conditional uses accessory to a golf course include restaurant, drinking and <br />entertaining establishment, and semi -transient accommodations. Permitted and <br />conditional accessory uses within the existing urban residential districts are also included. <br />• Minimum lot area, width, and maximum impervious surface standards are slightly <br />increased from those of the LDR zoning district. <br />• Site development standards for development within the Golf Course Community District <br />are set forth, including the following: <br />
