<br /> CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2017-058 A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING THE LAKE ELMO INN ON BEING NAMED IN OPEN TABLE’S 100 BEST BRUNCH RESTAURANTS IN AMERICA WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Inn restaurant is operated in the heart of downtown Lake Elmo; and <br /> WHEREAS, a restaurant has operated at the location of the Lake Elmo Inn since 1881; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Inn currently employs approximately 140 people; and <br /> WHEREAS, Lake Elmo Inn owners Chris and John Schiltz received the Cornerstone 2013 Humanitarian award for their commitment to helping others; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Inn restaurant has received numerous awards over the <br />years, including the 2014 Restaurant of the Year award from the Minnesota Restaurant Association; and WHEREAS, Lake Elmo Inn Owner/Chef John Schiltz has received numerous awards including Restauranteur of the year. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, does hereby congratulate the Lake Elmo Inn restaurant on being named in Open Table’s 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America and thanks the owners and staff for their contributions to the community. <br /> APPROVED by the Lake Elmo City Council on this 6th day of June, 2017. <br /> <br /> By: __________________________ Mike Pearson Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> ________________________________ Julie Johnson <br />City Clerk
