12L i I <br />INNAAWN. <br />K <br />ENS KT4 N UKM ad I MCI <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 0&405 BY TITLE <br />AND SUMMARY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08-205, <br />urarr&,mee-wren&tT� <br />City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Staiu� Section 412.191 , subdivision 4. allows publication by title <br />and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following suminary would clearly inform <br />the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance; and <br />NOW, TtWRMRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />that the City Clerk sliall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 08- to be published in the <br />official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance - <br />The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08.205, which amends <br />Chapter 153 - Subdivision Regulations of the Lake Elmo City Code of Ordinances by: <br />• Clarifying language regarding lot line adjustment and lot consolidation. <br />• Amending language regarding metes and bounds to align with State Statute. <br />• Clarifying that release of building permits is as set forth by the development agreement. <br />• Adding additional application submittal requirements for Sketch Plan Review, Preliminary <br />Major Subdivision Review, and Final Major Subdivisions Review. <br />• Additional requirements for Minor Subdivisions, including preparation of a preliminary <br />plat prepared by a registered land surveyor in accordance with M.S. Ch. 505, drainage, <br />grading and erosion control plans, existing and proposed low floor elevations, wetland <br />delineation report and map, soil testing, public hearing, and a time restriction for recording <br />of a minor subdivision. <br />• Removing certain design standards and instead referring to those outlined in the City <br />Engineering Design and Construction Standards Manual. <br />The full text of Ordinance No. 08-205 and Ordinance No. 08-205 is available for inspection at <br />Lake Elmo city hall during regular business hours. <br />
